Strategies for Managing Small and Medium Audit Shops
March 24, 2016 @ 12:00 pm
Internal audit departments of all sizes face a problem common with many others in the business world; endless responsibilities but limited resources. This is especially true in the small (2 or fewer auditors) and medium (3-6 auditors) audit departments, where resources are few and growing responsibilities are stretching departments thin. As a result, it is important to create strategies that will not just address but actually overcome the challenges that face small and medium audit shops. Please join Keith Mangine and Seth Rensberger, Directors at Clark Schaefer Consulting, as they discuss strategies such as creating risked based audit plans; how to do more with less while achieving audit goals; creating an effective quality assurance and improvement plan on a budget; and how to effectively communicate with senior management and an audit committee.
