Amanda Hornung

As a Manager for CSC’s Risk & Controls team, Amanda oversees various aspects including business process improvement projects, SOC reports, SOX compliance, and internal audits. Her recent focus has involved collaborating with diverse industries such as financial institutions, fintech companies, small businesses, and gaming institutions to complete SOC and compliance reports, conduct fraud investigations, and perform business process improvements.

Amanda brings a wealth of experience across multiple sectors. She began her career in a management program for a large regional bank and later transitioned to public accounting as a tax specialist. Prior to rejoining public accounting, she held various roles such as Director of Finance at a private school, senior financial crimes investigator at a multi-state bank, and accounting and finance manager roles at a publicly traded utility.

Her primary expertise lies in business process improvement, SOC reporting, financial software integration, and SOX controls evaluation and review, for both regulated and non-regulated businesses. Amanda's approach centers on understanding each client's business needs and facilitating progress, whether by identifying control gaps, implementing individual business process improvement, or optimizing end-to-end workflows through process modifications and software integration.
